The International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care (IJTAHC)
The International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care (IJTAHC) is in its 32nd year and a key platform for its parent organization, Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi). We are calling for new Associate Editors to participate in the editorial process and develop the journal. Suitable candidates with considerable experience in HTA and evidence-based medicine are invited to apply. Clinical experience or additional expertise in some of the following areas would also be useful: health economics, systematic reviews, statistics, or health policy.
Applicants would be expected to have a good publication record and excellent English writing skills. In this role you would be expected to manage around 10 articles per year, finding reviewers and making recommendation for the Editor-in-Chief, as well as provide some reviews as necessary. It will require regular activity at the website to facilitate a rapid review process, for which we are trying to improve the timeframe. We have estimated the time required to be in the order of 2 to 3 hours per week.
If you are interested, please submit a short application with a brief CV showing your publication record and any reviewer or editorial experience.
Please submit applications to the incoming Editor-in-Chief of IJTAHC, Wendy Babidge , by Friday 2nd September. If you have any questions please contact her at email - email@example.com
