Biotech and Emerging Technologies: the Value of Collaboration

organized by MERCK SERONO International SA

16:00 - 18:30  Symposium 2    Room H1

This Workshop will continue the series of highly interactive and fun workshops held in Krakow, Rome and Adelaide aimed at further developing a framework to allow improved collaboration between HTA Agencies, health technology producers (Industry), clinicians and patients. The 2006 workshop examined the Value of Innovation and this year the focus will be on the Value of Collaboration. How to incorporate different stakeholder’s perception of appropriate evidence is an important issue in HTA and the workshop would aim to clearly identify the goals of several individual stakeholder groups in such collaborative working and to continue to identify ways forward in the development of clear and transparent practical relationships. Please see the workshop programme for more details and do please come prepared to participate!
